The Traverse City area hosts a wide variety of festivals and events throughout the year. By far our largest annual event is the National Cherry Festival, this and many other area events are reasons our visitors come back to Traverse City year after year.

The Festival Foundation was created in 2008 by representatives of the National Cherry Festival in order to provide a means by which the greater Grand Traverse communities could support education and charitable efforts focusing on agriculture, tourism, and the National Cherry Festival. |
